LUX WOOL SILK
"This fabric was directly developed by Orr, using very delicate yarn: 2-ply 80-count 100% wool and 2-ply 120-count 100% silk, woven at high density. These are the most commonly used counts in high-end men's suits. It's a suit fabric that mixes the sturdy wool yarn used in men's suits with the delicate silk preferred by women, making it firm yet soft and lustrous."
- All processes, including weaving, dyeing, and finishing, are done in Korea. It's a high-density twill weave, rarely seen domestically, making it lightweight yet drapey with a resilient volume.
- Silk, an animal protein fiber, is susceptible to sunlight, can weaken or yellow due to sweat, and is sensitive to weak alkalis, so avoid using alkaline soaps.
- As it shrinks significantly when wet, dry cleaning is strongly recommended.
- It is best to minimize washing silk. Once damaged, it is very difficult to restore it to its original condition.
- Due to its good hygroscopicity, avoid humid places and manage it by placing desiccants in the wardrobe when storing.
